    gTummo (sau Tummo, în tibetană “gtum-mo” – “foc interior feroce”) este una dintre cele mai fascinante și puternice practici meditative din buddhismul tibetan Vajrayana, parte din cele Șase Yoga ale lui Naropa. Dezvoltată în secolele XI-XII de maeștri precum Milarepa, această tehnică permite practicantului să genereze căldură interioară intensă, suficientă pentru a rezista frigului extrem – celebrul exemplu fiind călugării tibetani care meditează goi în zăpadă, topind gheața din jurul lor.

    Nu este doar o demonstrație de control corporal, ci o cale profundă spre iluminare: focul interior (candali în sanscrită) dizolvă blocajele energetice, trezește kundalini și duce la realizarea naturii minții (mahāmudrā).

    1. Poziție: Stai în postura meditativă (șapte puncte ale lui Vairocana): picioare încrucișate, coloană dreaptă, bărbia ușor trasă în piept, mâinile în mudra specifică (de obicei Vajra Mudra sau în poală).
    2. Inspirație profundă: Inspiră lent și complet pe nas, umplând mai întâi abdomenul inferior, apoi pieptul (respirație completă yoghină).
    3. Contractă bandha-urile:
      • Mula Bandha: Contractă mușchii perineului (ca și cum ai opri fluxul urinar).
      • Uddiyana Bandha (ușoară): Trage abdomenul spre interior și în sus (fără a expira complet).
      • Aceste contracții „sigilează” energia în partea inferioară a corpului.
    4. Retenție (Kumbhaka): Ține respirația reținută cât poți confortabil (începători 5-10 secunde, avansați minute întregi). În acest timp:
